@Astrizia No that makes perfect sense! Thank you so much for explaining it to me. I've wanted to make normal patterns as wall hangings for a while but i was just waiting for inspiration, thanks for the help!

@savannahe It's attached with the normal knots, but where it is needed the thread runs on the back of it. So I applied any that was next to each other first and then just built it up around them. Sorry not sure how to explain it 🤔 The only really annoying ones were the two at the end of each side since I had to run the thread all along the back.
I've seen the same method used for normal keychains but sadly don't know of any tutorial on the top of my head.

@natbunny same over here - I just finally chose my colors and found the right ones (I have so far about 700 skeins that I transformed into bobbins & now there’s my DMC collection from over 120 craft cord skeins that are waiting for their transformation...) and those numbers are only estimated, I’m sure that I have more... ^.^,’

@DBOE yay! That’s always the hardest part for me, cutting the string then getting started. After that it’s just following the pattern 🙂
