@paytonian alphas are typically a lot harder, and they’re more like weaving. You also add in colors at certain times. With regular patterns, they are typically easier, and you use all the colors you have. At the top of this pattern there’s a video called “How to Make Alphas” and it’s really helpful. Don’t forget to keep trying! Your first few might not turn out that great but keep trying. Good luck!
hey!! i have a question and i thought i would ask it here, what's the difference between a alpha pattern and a normal? is alpha harder? could somebody tell me how to do it or tell me a yt vid that explains it ?thanks 💟
I just finished this bracelet! I finished it in 3 nights it was at least 4-5 hours of work? I decided to add “ILY” in the middle of the pattern and I changed the colors a bit. I enjoyed this bracelet very much. This was my 5th alpha and it was a fun challenge. The hard part was changing colors on the end which happened about 6-8 times I believe. This is great for both kidcore/indie and soft spring vibes depending on the way you choose the colors. This is a great bracelet for your 3rd+ bracelet. Also I advise using straight edges and flat alpha which Marsha knots has videos on!
