I LOVE this SO much! I only wish it were 48 base strings or less. I have small dowels n not a lot of patience. She sure is pretty n I'd definitely make her for myself for my birthday this month.
I used this grid of Betty and turned it into a small blanket. For the grid I used single crochet and a mixture of stitches to boarder it and make it blanket size. I lost details around the fingers but I have since learned it was the way I was carrying the yarn for colour changes. Thank you for the pattern and I have uploaded a photo which I hope gets approved soon 👍
fun fact: betty boop was actually based on a black woman, which explains why she had short, but curly hair. when they were looking for who she was based off of, a white woman said it was her, they knew it wasnt her so they kept looking, eventually another white woman said betty was based off of her and they believed her, and thats why betty boop is white today, even tho she wasnt back then. :}
