@rose3456-4 the base strings can be any colour you like. They don't have to be white.

For this pattern you need leading strings in 6 different colours. Only one of these colours is blue.

To switch to a different colour, you switch to a different leading string and make knots with it. MashaKnots explains it in her video on the flat alpha technique.

@silentgirl here in this pattern you have got the base strings as white but you have the leading string as blue so how do I do this pattern?
