@jshbwkqiz the dimensions are how many knots the pattern is wide and how many rows it has. This pattern is 29 knots wide (has 29 base strings) and 34 rows long. You can figure out how long that will be based on an alpha you tied before. You need 14 strings double that length plus some extra, fold them and attach them to your keyring using larks head knots. For the 29th base string you can use the end of your first leading string. You also attach it to the keyring using a larks head knot so the shorter end is the same length as the other base strings.
I’m kind of a beginner.. if I wanted to make it on a keychain like in the photos, how long should the keychain be because I’m not sure how to read dimensions anyone let me know!!
