This is based on the chaos crochet concept that I've seen on social media. I have created two pages of wheels. The first one has a colour scheme wheel, base string wheel (8-20 base strings in increments of 2), a start/end wheel, and a ties wheel. You can use these wheels to determine the beginning of your chaos bracelet. Once you have finished selecting these random options using the wheels let me know and I will dm a link to the wheel that will help determine the way you knot (you do not need to respond to that message). Here are the basic rules: -You can use all the wheels or some of them -You must share your results in this forum before I share the link so you can start knotting -The second link is not published in the forum so that users do not base their starts or respin to fit the element options. -When you start knotting you'll get a topic like hearts, dots, stripes, etc. these are guidelines for the pattern you'll begin knotting as a general rule you should keep to one topic for about 8 rows before you spin the wheel for another element. You can reuse elements or delete them as you please. -Part of this challenge is interpreting the topic/elements and freehanding/not planning your creation in advance. Please finish knotting each section before spinning the wheel for another element. -Feel free to ask what I meant by a certain option but still make it your own interpretation. -Your bracelet is going to be abstract but thats the whole point! -This is meant to be an alpha pattern creation. -This challenge will be open for all of september. After September ends I will not share the second wheel but you can continue creations with this concept as you please. -Please share any feedback on options to add/remove Prizes: 1st: I'll make a pattern of your choice (may require multiple options), 5 stars on all your patterns 2nd: You can pick a pattern from my todos for me to make, I'll rate some of your patterns 5 stars 3rd: Five stars on a few if your patterns (If you do not have patterns you can select another user to spread the love) Wheel #1 Link https://spinthewheel.io/wheels/KgiraTiFIcHyefIXNPRYcz0xJmU9MA== |

For clarification, you do not find a specific alpha pattern that goes along with the choices you were assigned from the wheel, right? You randomly start making the alpha pattern based on the choices the wheel made for you, right? Then when you spin the second wheel, you change the "pattern," right? So how many rows do we do first before we spin the wheel? And after we spin the wheel, how many rows do we do afterwards?

@Warhorse @knotlover7 @kittyclara Hi, I sent you all the link for the second wheel. To answer your questions: I will create a pattern based off my chaos bracelet that you can post patterns to (I will share the number here when its up), this is a knotting version of the crochet trend so only knotting is accepted, you can use beads/charms if you want as long as you have knots in it. Here is a tutorial for the different ties: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGR9nA7L1zE&t=272s

@knotlover I stated in my first post: as a general rule you should keep to one topic for about 8 rows before you spin the wheel for another element. You can reuse elements or delete them as you please. You do not need to stick to the 8 rows you can adjust and have different size sections to make your elements clear. You are changing the pattern as you go, if you can't think of how to knot a element you can message me and I can share a pattern code (which you paste into the generator) to see what your knots could look like. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if it doesn't |

@Warhorse @knotlover7 @kittyclara @halokiwi @LittenGirl thank you for participating. The pattern I ended up making for my bracelet is #216911, if you want to publish your finished creation to that pattern you can or you can publish your own pattern on this site (just make sure to mention the concept in the comments). Also after September both wheels will be added to my social media/braceletbook bios. If you have any feedback before I post those links please let me know. Also feel free to make multiple bracelets or use the same first wheel results to make a few different versions.
