Hi there everybody!! I’m so happy to be hosting another weekly challenge, and I hope that your new year is starting off well 😊The challenge rules this time are the same as usual. To receive a reward you need to… <>Take a photo of your completed creation (bracelet, keychain, wall hanging, bookmark, etc.)<> <>Include the word "challenge" in your photo clearly, but keep it reasonably small and unobtrusive. (you can write it down in the background, edit in text, etc.)<> <>Submit the photo to be reviewed by our moderator team and posted to the website<> You will get 1 reward for each separate creation you make and post. For example, if you make 3 bracelets and submit 3 photos, you will get 3 rewards. When your photo is accepted by a moderator, they will give you your reward! (a reward is the little number next to someone’s profile photo). Feel welcome to make as many creations as you want and to use whatever creative color combinations you feel like! Also, you can make as much or as little of the pattern as you would like, as long as it is completed enough of it that the moderators can easily identify the pattern you used. For example, if a pattern has 3 hearts in it, you can just make one and that will be acceptable. For alphabet/font patterns, you can write whatever words you would like in the font, as long as they are appropriate! Hello! Excited to join the challenge! 😊 I have a question regarding the colour combination; is it ok to change the colour order so that the pattern uses fewer colours? So if the pattern originally has 7 colours it would now only use 3?

@greenrobin hi!! as long as the pattern is still recognizable, and the moderator who reviews your photo will be able to tell which pattern you made, that should be fine!

Hi there @natsky ! I think that pattern #69716 would probably be the easiest/most beginner because it consists of only forward and backwards knots, which some people think are easier to follow. But if you are looking for something with less strings, I think that #69750 would also be pretty good for a beginner!

Correction for my comment to you, @natsky , pattern #69716 is mostly f and b knots, but there are a couple bf and fb knots in there as well, though I think it would still be good for a begginer!

@tanaknotts Yes, you submit the photos on the bracelet pattern, but you must add the word challenge somewhere in your photo so that the mods know to give you a reward.

@KLCatLady All you need to write in your photo is the word “challenge” for the mods to know to give you a reward. You can write, for example, Official January 2021 Week 2 if you want, but it’s not required to get the reward. Make the word “challenge” big enough for the mods to see, but don’t make it too distracting.
