What to do with scrap thread?

I’ve just discovered LOADS of scrap thread and have made some rag rug bracelets but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of things to do with them? ❤️ ❤️

If you make alphas, sometimes they can be good for the base strings. I just used some scrap thread from one of my normal pattern bracelets for base strings on an alpha bracelet I am currently making. Also, if you have a lot of cords (like charging cables and stuff for electronics), you can use extra string to tie and keep the cords together. If you have a watch but the piece that keeps the end of the watch band down has broke, you can use the string as a substitute to keep it tied down. Or, another option is to use it kind of like a key ring or something that helps make it easier to identify keys and such

They work well for tying teardrop bracelet loops if they are long enough. You need surprisingly little for it, so it's my way of using up scraps.

If you have some wire headphones I did a chinese staircase on mine using some scrap. If it’s long enough you could probably try your hand at making a pair of earrings
