I wonder if it’s possible to reverse engineer rainbow loom bracelets so that we can recreate them using yarn. I think some look great but the texture of rubber bands is a huge turn off. I know RainbowLoom (the company) is selling soft hair elastics as bands now, but they’re too big for bracelet making imo. Anyways, ClaireHair figured out a way to recreate Kandi bracelets using friendship bracelet methods, so I wonder if it’s possible to do the same with rainbow loom. I will say though that rainbow loom looks similar to crochet, and I feel like the single chain bracelet looks akin to single to a bunch of chain stitches from crochet.
