While I'm at least aware of the existence of a couple of these, the only one I've seen is TCM, both the original and the remake absolutely no one asked for (it was what my date wanted to see when it was still in theaters, so two tickets it was).The 1974 original certainly was a milestone moment in horror: before that time, seemed no one gave much thought to what a terrifying weapon the tool could be. I remember feeling similarly when another date a few years later wanted to check out SNAKES ON A PLANE, and I thought to myself how the bad guys never would've thought of that on their own--thanks, Hollywood. 🙄 |

i totally agreeeee the 1974 film was 100 percent better, i found the remake very fake. but all in all i prefer ncfom

I just found out the other night that there's supposed to be a direct sequel to 1985's RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD this Christmas (how very jolly/spirit of the season of them...), wisely ignoring all the garbage sequels that followed the original. I don't yet know (and am presently too ambivalent to do the research) if that means an old fashioned theatrical release, or if it means I have to sign up for some sort of streaming service like all the cool kids if I wanna check it out.It dawned on me that I haven't been the least bit excited for an upcoming movie since the latest time Disney attempted to get THE HAUNTED MANSION cinematic universe off the ground, a summer or two ago (I'm guessing most folks have forgotten it ever happened). I pretty much had the theater to myself, and I was glad I caught it when I did--it certainly didn't stick around in Thailand very long. It was okay, and at least an improvement over the Eddie Murphy version twenty years ago. Maybe in another two decades, if I'm still around, they'll've finally managed to make one that's almost pretty good. |

OMG Suits is the one of the only shows that I will continue to rewatch until I die. It is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched, and it keeps you hooked through all 9 seasons (Mike and Harvey are one of the best duos I’ve ever seen on TV)
