my knees have been hurting pretty bad lately, and I play soccer so there's a lot of running which probably doesn't help. Anyways, are there any exercises I should be doing to strengthen my knees? Thanks 🙂

Omg I have this problem all the time for dance. Does it feel like your knee is squeezing up and it hurts to bend your knees and stand back up? That's what I'm having. Anyways, PT is the obvious answer here. Don't try to just wait it out! I usually these in sets of 30.

@kpn yeah it does feel like that, and when I stand up, it feels like someone is stabbing my kneecaps with a butter knife. But yeah I'll definitely try these!! Thank you so much!

i have bad knees Too. my doctor Recommeded i get knee replacement surgery. you can see the difference in my picture

SAME. my knees hurt especially when i run and workout witch being an athlete doesn’t help 😭 my brother has patella tendonitis and i’m scared i have it too. he had to go to pt like all summer, get on meds, do stretches at home, and had some herbal remedy stuff

OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! i’m a runner and my knees hurt a lot sometimes. there are couple reasons for me. a) growing-as a teenager, your bones are growing, so you’ll occasionally feel some pain. b) overuse-i run nearly a mile everyday, so… something i do is to remember to always stretch before. that way your knees will get used to to movement after sitting all day, so they might not hurt as much.
