Variegated thread and normal patterns

Has anyone made a normal patter with variegated string?just curious. I'm really drawn to variegated because it looks like tie dye and well it's pretty but not sure what to use it for other than alphas which I haven't ever tried. Maybe I'll just try a pattern and see what happens. 🤪

I haven’t made a normal pattern with variegated string, but it is sooo wonderful for backgrounds on alphas! It never hurts to try!

yes i’ve used it in a normal pattern and it turned out great! it was pattern #22886
