I like to store my string in craft boxes on bobbins for the most part I have 10 boxes because people keep giving them to me so I keep acquiring string to put in them. In addition to that I also have 2 bins that I got from Michaels (I think they're meant to be card organizers) that I store skeins in that I haven't opened yet. When I clean I tend to find a ton of string everywhere, that sting usually goes in ziploc bags until they get sorted, totally don't have 3 bags that I need to sort haha. Hope that helps! ๐

i use a box with bobbins like the post above, i also have some duplicate colors that i keep in a separate box not on bobbins. i save scraps that are over a foot long, and have a box for those as well. itโs a weird system but it works for me!

i like to use paper clips or clothe pins to keep them from getting knotted
