So i'm a self-proclaimed "hipster-reader"i sometimes read "mainstream" books(hunger games, Harry Potter,etc) But most of the time, I read books that aren't so recognizable to the general public, but are super-uber good! Any other recommendations besides: ~ Pendragon (D.J. MacHale) ~ the Last Apprentice (Joseph Delaney) ~ Percy Jackson series (Rick Riodan) (Team Leo!!!) ~ the Wondla Series (Tony DiTerlizzi) ~ the Artemis Fowl series (Eoin Colfer) ~ the Divergent Series (Veronica Roth) (Comment if You're part of these Fandoms listed above. or at least have read the books) |

I have read the Divergent series and the first in the Percy Jackson series. But my favorite series by far is the Mortal Instruments!

Divergent and Percy Jackson books are pretty popular among YA readers, but I have read them all in the past. Especially since the Divergent movies came out, it's a lot more popular. Although I do not consider myself in the fandom, they were enjoyable reads. The rest I'd conciser not too popular among the general public, though!
