I read Harry Potter this year and Percy Jackson back in elementary school but I remember that I finished those books much faster than hp because they kept my attention better

Percy Jackson! I read the whole first series in less than two weeks in fourth grade but when I tried to read the Harry Potter books I could barely get past the first two. Granted I tried reading them in third grade (I would probably like them more if I read them now) but my vote is for Percy Jackson.

I used to love both as a teen, but haven't been able to birng myself to read for pleasure in years 😂I do want to reread percy jackson sometime, but with harry potter I mostly just enjoyed the first book |

i grew up with harry potter so obviously the series hold a v v important place in my heart, but the percy jackson series are just a m a z i n g and i gotta say that i find rick's caracters more real and relatable!
