How many knots are you able to make within a minute in a normal pattern that is quick to tie like a candystripe or chevron? Take a timer and and make as many knots as you can within a minute. Then write it down. I start: I can make about 8 or 9 knots a minute in a chevron. Now it's your turn. Can you beat me? (You probably can.) |

@Nainika I'm sure you can go even quicker. Try a simple candystripe or chevron and try to do as many knots as you can in a minute. You should be even quicker than on the candystripe with hearts.

I can't be bothered to start a chevron, so in 60s across a row of forward knots, I did 7. Given that I wasted a fair few seconds picking up and putting down 2 strings rather than 1 I'm guessing maybe I could do 2 more, maybe 3 on a chevron/candy stripe? I'm pretty happy with having done 7 tbh!
