hii so we've been in school for a while now, how are you guys doing?? personally all my teachers kind of suck... I have a teacher who's always hyped in the morning and starts dancing around the classroom (i have her 1st period...) and its really embarrassing... not a good way to start the day but its ok im always late so i miss her singing most of the time. but girl its 8:50 in the morning and i haven't finished my iced coffee yet chilllllanyway share your experiences and whatever!! |

I am no longer in school now but i had 2 things keep me going during school either bring an energy drink with low caffeine and sugar or get a starbucks coffee

@GuiseppeK unfortunately, it seems to me that coffee drinking is being replaced with energy drinks, which are arguably WORSE… mainly Alani’s (200 mg of caffeine), and Monster energy drinks (~86 mg), even the school I go to SELLS drinks with caffeine to kids… so there’s a lot of caffeine addiction in general

@just_mere I have zero doubt it's worse. Full disclosure, I'm a big fan of coffee, but I still respect it for the drug that it is. If we abuse it, the kick won't be there for us when we really need it.(My earlier contribution was tongue firmly in cheek--just pluggin' the comedy stylings of my buddy Chris.) |

@Paws14 While you probably weren't looking for suggestions, I'll throw in that I've helped a few people in the past by brewing up coffee that was half decaf grounds, and every week or so upping that ratio until they were once again sensitive to caffeine (they were aware I was doing so; I wasn't trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes). As far as I'm concerned, that's the only purpose of "decaf."Of course, that's assuming your mother drinks actual coffee that she brews at home, and not the pricey concoctions of sugar, syrups and whipped cream with very little actual coffee in them (in that case, I got nuthin'). |

I've seen "6-7" getting referenced here and there, but too "boomer" to fully understand. I tend to think back to the age-old expression of "same ole sixes and sevens," which roughly translates to "so-so, same old same old, meh." For you musical peeps, it even got a mention in "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" from EVITA.Before I retired, "random" was the word I wished my younger teammates could've given a rest.
