hello to all the book addicts! i thought it’d be cool if we had a place where we can talk about anything that is reading related, such as fav genres, tropes, series, book recs, thoughts on certain books etc. i’ve recently got out of my very long reading slump and last week i read the folk of the air series, which i liked a lot! now i’m reading fearless from the powerless series ( which is the last book of the series) and honestly i like it more than the folk of the air. my fav genres are romantasy and fantasy. and btw if you’ve read any of the series i mentioned please feel free to share your thoughts on them, i’d really like to talk about them ❤️ |

I haven't read those specific books yet but I am also a huge romantasy genre fan! My favorites so far has been the Empyrean series, the Inferno series, and pretty much any book from Sarah J. Maas.

my fav genres are also fantasy/romantasy!! i also love romcoms (lynn painter >>>) my fav series rn are the once upon a broken heart trilogy, and the arc of a scythe trilogy. i also loveee the anne of green gables series. my last read was the fault in our stars and i am rereading heartless by marissa meyer right now!

@izzyp26151 I’ve read the og trilogy a couple times but haven’t had a chance to read the other spin offs. It’s been a while but at first I was team Jameson, switched teams by the second book but when the third book came out I think I was more team Jameson. I definitely want to reread soon and also start the newer books. Have you read the naturals series by the same author? I loved inheritance games in middle school but the naturals is honestly better!!

@morgan1494 I am the same way, Jameson, Grayson, Jameson. The Brothers Hawthorne (The bridge to The grandest game Tri) is okay... But the grandest game is a great book! I have not rad the naturals yet, but everyone says its great and my best friend is about to tie me up and read it to me😅 so I guess I'll be reading it soon. Is it good?

@izzyp26151 Yes the naturals is so exciting and has a lot of good plot twists, but there is another love triangle hahaha (however I think the better choice is a little more obvious)

@fishyknots omg i LOVE the scythe series!!! neal shusterman is probably my favourite author all his books are AMAZING you should check them out! personally i like fantasy, sci fi, dystopia - ive read a lott of books but some of my favs have been the aurora cycle series by amie kaufmann and jay kristoff and ALSO SIX OF CROWS isreally good. yup 👍
