Its abt a girl ( katniss everdeen ) who gets picked to fight aganst other districts there are 12 and 12 is ( the worst ) cause they only have 1 winner after like 50 years and they want to rebel

In fairness to Katniss, if memory serves she wasn't picked, exactly: she volunteered to go in the place of her little sister, whose name was the "lucky" one drawn in that macabre raffle and would have certainly been killed.Got about halfway through the book years ago (in another language) when a mentor had us reading it as training. I should probably dust off my copy and finish it one of these days. |
