this pattern is actually really easy to segment knot! basically you knot it like a regular chevron except with the 3rd and 6th knots on the left you do a backward knot and then with the 3rd and 6th knots on the right you do a forward knot. so starting on the left you do: f, f, b, f, f, b, f, f. on the right you do the same except mirrored: b, b, f, b, b, f, b, b. and then you do any knot to connect the two middle strings, ending the v shape. and continue that to the desired length. hope that helped!
