I have been making bracelet patterns, and could use some help picking colors out. I feel like I’m struggling to pick colors that go well together, and could use some more practice on it. If you have any ideas, website suggestions, or just general tips I would be very grateful. Thanks! |

Patterns like diamonds and stripes are my favorite kinds to do, but I struggle with designing them myself.

I like the website coolors.co ! It has a color palette generator with the codes associated for each color in the palette it generates. Then if you like one, you can lock it in and scramble the other options until you have the palette you like. Really fun!

I agree with the Coolors recommendation. You can also Google color combinations for any number of colors. I have found a lot of really pretty 3-color combos to add as variations to a pattern I made that way.

If you have colors in order, even three, arranging them in ‘rainbow order’ (or according to a color wheel) will create the smoothest gradient and usually be the best to look at.
