i'm trying to post this on as many platforms i can think of in hopes that someone knows of a tutorial or has made this pattern. i can follow the pattern as shown very easily, but the pictures that people are posting show a completely different bracelet. i cannot find a free tutorial anywhere 😢

Hi, I just went to look at the photos of pattern #171270, I assume you're referring to the photos where the bracelet isn't a flat weave, right?

It looks like each string doesn't make individual knots across the strings of the other colour, but just 1 instead over all at once.In addition to that macrame knots are "upside-down" compared to regular friendship bracelet knots. |

I tried to do it, but it got a little complicated because I was using a different type of thread! But the result is pretty close.

And the pattern reads a little differently. The threads are placed by color: 4💜, 4💛, 4💙I grabbed the 4 threads💙 together and with the 4 threads💛, one by one I made festoon knots over the 4 threads💙. Then take the 4 threads💜 and use them as a base to make 4 festoon knots with the threads💙, over the threads💜 Next, take the 4 threads💛, to make 4 festoon knots with the threads💜, over the 4 threads💛 And then it repeats itself over and over again. To make it you have four strings for each part of the braid. When knotting the left bundle you move the middle four strings under the four on the left and then do regular forward knots with each string individually onto the middle bundle. Idk if that makes sense but that’s the premise. The video tutorial was free but due to someone stealing it the user who created it had to monetize their videos. It is ridiculously cheap but in my opinion a pattern only able to be made by paying should not exist on this site. If there’s a free tutorial that’s different.
