Hi I’m trying to do this pattern but I’m struggling to find out how many strings to colour including the leading string as it’s 19 strings with the leading string and it’s #205342 if you want to know which pattern I need help with Can anyone help me with this predicament please? |

I’m trying to figure out how many strings to cut without the leading string on patterns with more than 10 strings in the pattern and I’m just getting confused with this can you help?

You only need to look at if the amount of strings is odd or even.Without counting the leading string: - Even: divide by 2 - Odd: minus 1 and then divide by 2 With counting the leading string: - Odd: minus 1 and the divide by 2 - Even: minus 2 and then divide by 2 |
