I got for $6 at michaels on sale 800 meters of summer sunset crochet thread it’s the size of embroidery thread and was pastel (pink, blue, green and purple) it was also glittery. It was originally $11 I only got it last week so it might still be on sale. Dollarama also has some amazing thread including color changing threads.

you can get some inexpensive thread from mynotions.com ! i’ve never used it but i’ve heard it’s good. i started using crochet thread for my alpha base strings (black & white) because it’s much cheaper than normal thread/floss. i get mine from hobby lobby!
