my twisted ties keep untwisting after the tie the knot at the end?

well, after twisting both pairs of string, you twist them over each other in THE OPPOSITE direction than you twisted the 2 different pairs. Did you do that?

I found that if you twist the two strands and hold them straight out opposite from each other and slowly let them twist on their own (still adjusting the tension of the two strands), you get a super tight twisted tie and it will stay put and won’t unravel once you knot it at the end!
