#26815 turns out really cool with variegated thread. I also love making polka dot chevrons with it. So instead of 4 colours and a background, I just use one colour of shifting thread and another for the background. I have a few photos up on here with variegated thread used if you wanted to see what the patterns look like!

I also recommend any patterns with 2 or 3 colours, one of which you use variegated thread for. Like a pattern with black, white, and colour changing thread? Classic.

#8046, it’s a vertical wave pattern. I always see it on Instagram. There some YouTube videos on how to make it if you don’t know how.
