Creating normal bracelets

I have always wanted to create a normal pattern, but it seems so confusing! 😐How do you guys get such good results? All I've ever created in a normal pattern was a few squiggly lines. (And it obviously got declined 😂) Do you have any tips on how to plan out/create a normal bracelet? |

there is a plan in place (by @Racoon and @Admin) to be putting an easier to use clickable generator on braceletbook in the future, so be on the lookout for that! but in the meantime, i recommend playing around with the generator on friendship - bracelets . net , which allows you to just click on the knots so you can change their direction instead of typing in the code 😊

In the tutorial section there's a tutorial on how to design normal patterns using graph paper. Before putting a pattern in the generator it's best to know what the pattern should look like. By drawing the pattern on graph paper like described in the tutorial you can figure the knots out. Then you just need to write them in the generator row by row.
