the way i do it is to thread your bead on to your string. depending on how big your bead is, you can do one or more strings. after you thread it, just do a regular knot below it (a forward, backward, bf, or fb knot could also be used if you’re doing beads in the middle of your pattern) i really like to do beads at the bottom of keychains!

i literally just put it up high on the string that you want it attached to, and tie a knot below the bead so it stays in place. hope that helps!! 🙂

you can also attach a charm using a jump ring once you’ve completed a bracelet! you just separate the ring, stick once end through the bracelet, then close it 🌸✨
