Has anyone tried the boxes of thread from amazon? I’ve been curious and considering buying some, but I’m not sure how it actually comes.

I just have them in a plastic back I can open and close where some of my strings came in. I don't really have the motivation to sort them in any way.

The boxes of thread from Amazon are really nice! The only difference I’ve really noticed (compared to DMC thread) is that the Amazon thread is softer and produces slightly larger knots
