Hello all! I'm looking to create a space in my room where I can just work on bracelets and was wondering:What do YOUR bracelet spaces look like? How do you set it up and where do y'all knot? Looking for on the go tips as well 🙂 |

Honestly, bracelet making doesn't take up much space compared to my other hobbies. I just have a small box with my threads and I sit in my computer chair with my current work tied to my thigh 🙂

I usually knot on my bed, I find it the most comfortable.I use a sturdy cutting mat as the workspace for making bracelets. There is a measurement grid on it which also makes it very convenient to follow the current length of a bracelet. And since I only make one bracelet at a time, I just leave it taped to the mat between knotting sessions so as not to waste any time for preparation. |

I store all my threads sorted in bags (not on bobbins) in a big box. For the bracelets I use a clipboard and I mostly knot sitting at a table with more difficult bracelets (not on the table, still with the clipboard) in my garden (sad, that summer is ending) or while watching TV on the sofa (with easier bracelets).Mostly one of my cats is nearby purring and helping a lot. 😂 ❤️ |

I don’t have a suitable table in my room and on my bed I’d have nowhere to secure it so I usually just pin it into my carpet and work on the floor lol

I work at a desk with a clipboard or now I started putting them on the desk with tape but sometimes I grab the clipboard and sit on the couch!

I have a small box that I use to keep string, then sometimes I use tape to make a special knot at the top instead of lose string and then continue to start a bracelet pattern. I also use a pillow or backpack strap with a safety pin to work on my bracelet wherever. It really doesn’t take much space just like others say!

I usually knot on my desk, with all my thread that I need out, if I’m knotting on the go,( or on my bed ) I use a plastic storage bin lid 😂 it’s kinda odd but works really well, I have an old wardrobe and i store all my thread in one of the drawers, I also just have stuff scattered everywhere tho 🤪Hope this helps! ❤️ |

I have a pull out countertop that I use for wall hangings and then for smaller bracelets I mostly just pin them to my pants and sit on the couch.

i have my strings organized in small cardboard bobbins on a plastic small bag, and my finished bracelets in other small plastic bag, and both in a box, I make them on a clipboard. I usually leave the house sometimes so it's easy to transport, and to keep them from getting tangled, I use adhesive tape.I really think it doesn't take up much space 🤔 |

I always sit at my desk and try to avoid slouching or sitting cross cross (yes ik that’s hard😭) but it is SO much easier on your body then 🙂

I like to put the bracelets I’m working on on a pillow with safety pins and work on my bed or couch. I’ve tried using a clipboard but I find a pillow is more comfortable.

I make sure I have enough place for knotting. When my desk is clean, then I tape the bracelet, put my (printed) pattern above and start knotting.

I will get in my loft bed (it's the exact same thing as a bunk bed except it has space under it instead of another bed), and I will bring with me; my yard stick, some tape, my friendship bracelet kit, and my big box of threads. (For the tape, I will just use my bracelet kit as the solid structure.) Then, I will tape unfinished bracelets I need to work on later to my wall lol 😂
