my alpha is narrowing

I have a problem that when I do alpha, it becomes smaller the lower I am. I use the straight edge technique but it doesn't help. What can I do to keep my alpha straight all the time?

First of all, practice is the best advice. The more you tie knots, the better your bracelet looks. But in your case, a good tip is the tension of your knots. Try making them looser (but not too loose)! If you can, try making your knots with the same tension. This has helped me a lot!
