Ring Pulls to start bookmarks.

I am tempted to start a Normal pattern bookmark with the strings attached to a ring pull and after finishing make a tassel in the other hole of the ring pull. Has anyone done this or would the ring pull eventually cut through the strings with use? โค๏ธ |

If you are worried, that it will cut your string, you could try sanding it down.You could also make a stress test to see, if you are even able to cut a string using a pop tab. (That's what a ring pull is, right? English is not my first language and I was unfamiliar with the word.) |
