Hi! Would anyone know why even though I’m using the flat alpha technique why my finished product is sort of bumpy? Like am I tying my knots too tight, or something else?

You definitely want to try to keep consistent knot tying tension, which is kind of hard to do. And you don’t want them super tight either. Sometimes when switching colors they can become bumpy but to fix this once you switch colors, take the previous color you were using and lightly tug and pull it out of the way and try to get it as flat as possible. That’s what has worked for me.

Also when you are tying knots, try to make ones with the color switches tighter than your regular knots. This has helped me a lot. 😊
