I’ve seen a lot of patterns and photos with grey (gray idk) string and I was wondering where everyone bought their grey string. The only stuff I have is this light silvery grey that I got from my art teacher a while back and it’s not really a good color at all. Anyways, I haven’t seen them on amazon but maybe I just need to look harder? Any tips would be great, thanks!

Both Anchor and DMC (the brands I use the most) have different shades of grey for their thread. I get them from craft stores. Not sure where you are from, but in the UK Hobbycraft is a good place to get them, especially DMC. 🙂

I get a big pack from DMC and it has a light grey and a dark grey. I think its like the 100 pack? I buy it at Walmart but JoAnn Fabrics also sells DMC if you have them in your area. Hope this helps!

I would get a color pack from amazon, I find a lot of grey in amazon packs

DMC has tons of gray colors. You can get them at any major craft store!
