Have any of you ever made a bookmark out of a bracelet? If so, how did you tie the ends off?

I made something similar to a bookmark when a design ended up being way too longer to be a bracelet. I just grouped together about 3-4 strings into overhand knots, and tied them as close to the end of the design as possible. It ends up looking sort of like a row of tassels on the end. I hope that makes sense...?

I know this is a bit of an older post now but a bracelet IS technically made up of knots so you can just trim the ends to a desired fringe length and leave them.

Older post but for anyone finding it now or looking to add a flair, you could always braid off a portion at the end and add on some beads, weighs the bookmark down slightly so its harder for the bookmark to fall out when moving around.
