Ok so this is a dumb question and I give you permission to laugh at this🤣🤣... once you order crochet thread(mine is lions brand summer nights) how do you know where the start of the string is???

Dude I have the same problem!! I think on some threads it says on the package but on the ones that don't it's usually from the center. Otherwise I just kind of look around and pull some bits to see if they get loose. I'm sorry this is vastly unhelpful but hope this helps 😛

It's hard but what you can do is start pulling on the string gently if you think it is the start.

Hey @sunshine5 I also crochet so ive delt with lots of yarn in my life. When making bracelets, I like to take the label off and then just pull the yarn from the outside of the skein
