hey i got a kick to make alpha pattern but all of them are ending up in a lot o strings like 30-50 but i want to make smaller alphas, is that possible from pictures or do i have to draw them manually?

Yes, that's possible with "alpha from image". You just have to lower the max height and max width. The pre-set numbers are 50 for both of them.
It might be a little more difficult to tweak the pattern afterwards but you have to tweak the pattern anyways after using alpha from image.

you can put the dimensions into alpha from image, however the images usually end up wonky so they will need some tweaking
