What do you do if you cut your base strings for Alpha's too short or they break?

You can weave in a new string as the base string, I believe Alex innovation has video.

@Czarcasm If you’re using a table and a base string snaps, all you gotta do is place a piece of string in the same spot that the string snapped at and tap it to the table. Continue your pattern as if nothing happened and it should fix the problem. If you need to make Alpha strings longer, you can use the same method, or tie a longer piece to the small base string. The problem with the second method is it does leave a small knot on your base and you may have difficulty with it.
