How to prevent unraveling knots

Hi! i was wondering if anyone has some tips or tricks on how to prevent the first and last knots on an alpha keychain from unraveling? iโve used nail polish in the past but looking for an alternative method?? with nail polish i still the end of the thread sticking out and want to prevent that. Thank you!

There's a few things you could do. You could tie the leading string onto the keyring, that way you would have nothing sticking out. You could do it as you are now, but cut it a little longer so you can fold it behind the bracelet and stick it down. Or you could leave it, fold it behind the bracelet, cut a piece of felt to fit the length of the keychain and stick the piece of felt to the back of the keychain; that way the entire back of the keychain is hidden (and so is the tail of the leading string). There's probably many other ways to do it as well, but those are a few. ๐ |

I use nail polish and it works for me but sometimes I keep the strings sticking out on the back long and then I tie the closest string with the end of the last/first leading string.
