Hi! I am having trouble with a bracelet I am making. This is my first alpha bracelet, and the sides are looking super weird. Does anyone know how to fix that? It looks really bumpy. So is the bottom of the bracelet. Help!

Did you use the straight edges technique for the sides? That should help with bumpy edges. If you aren't familiar with it you should check out Masha Knots flat alpha technique on youtube! She talks about a way to keep your edges really straight. She also has an alpha hacks video that might be helpful!

Also, I am doing a keychain with a simple white background and watermelon design (#28133) but the watermelon part is popping up out of the background (which actually looks pretty nice) but I wish it would be ,,

Does ANYONE know how to change leading strings when you switch from one row to the next on alphas? I don't really know how to explain it. I do the straight edges technique on the edges. I do the forward backward knot, then go to do the same thing for the next row down, but some patterns switch colors and leading strings right as I go to do that. It never looks good, and the old leading string always sticks out from the side and makes the sides lumpy!!!!
