Are you asking about creating alpha patterns, or do you mean physically making alpha bracelets?

to make an alpha you have to have base strings. you will use different strings to knot onto your base strings. base strings will never be seen in a pattern. a few techniques you should use for color switching and making your bracelets overall neater are the flat alpha technique and the straight edges technique. masha knots has videos on these things on youtube and after watching them my alphas looked infinitely better. i can't even express how helpful she is. i strongly recommend watching her videos and maybe you'll understand alphas better.

I strongly recommend watching some video on how to make alphas, like the users above me said. It’s much easier to explain and understand when you can actually see what you have to do. Also, it may take some practice to get it down, even after watching tutorials, but don’t give up! Alphas are super fun to make and can open up your options a ton!
