Hi, I'm trying to make an alpha pattern, but the website says that I can't use any black colored thread. I tried changing the black to really dark blue, so it basically looks black, but I can't use dark colored thread either. I've seen alpha patterns with black in them, but I don't know how to include black thread in my patterns. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks.

The darkest shade allowed is 33333 all 3s anyways I normally just add a dark grey shade closest to the 3333 limit and then when I’m making the actual pattern instead of using grey I use the black

they don’t allow you to use colors that are too dark because it is difficult to see the individual pixels in the pattern grid. the darkest color they accept, as the person before me said, is 333333. i usually use 383838 though. hope that helps! 🙂

OP already answered but the “black” color you were seeing on other people’s patterns is also just a dark grey 😊
