So i want to make a new normal patter but every time i change the abbaabb thing and hit save and test it if i was doing a rainbow abbccddeeddccbba or just changing it in general and hit generate it always no matter what i do will turn into abbccddeeddccbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and add a bunch more pink! help me please!

Make sure you only typed either seven or eight knots per row (the number of knots should alternate)

with normal patterns, each odd row has half the amount of knots as there are strings and each even row has minus one. so for example for abbccddeeddccbba since you have 16 total strings, you’d do 8 knots then 7 knots, 8 knots then 7 knots. hope that helps! 🙂

That means you have written too many knots into a row. If you do that more strings of colour a are generated.
