I'm pretty sure that the error you're getting is because when you make a normal pattern the 2nd row and all rows that are multiples of two (4, 6, 8....) have to have one less knot than the previous rows. So if you are making a bracelet that is 8 strings your first row will have 4 knots the second will have three and the third 4 knots the fourth 3 knots and so on. Also your pattern has to end with an even number of rows. Hope this helped!

TFK19 is right, youre either missing a knot in one of the rows, or you have an uneven number or rows.

So when you make a normal pattern. What do you mean by an even number of rows? Like the last row of knots has to be an even number? Or the number of knots have to be even?

The last row has to be an even # like a multiple of 2 (row 20, 22, 24, etc)
