toothpick or dowel?

i want to make a wall hanging type bracelet and it is 30 base strings. should i make it on a dowel or a toothpick?

I would make it on a dowel. A toothpick might be too small.

I honestly have toothpicks that are pretty long, so I use would use them for everything under 40 base strings. You probably don't have them though, so I say go for dowel 🙂

I’m pretty sure both would work but I prefer dowels because they are more sturdy

honestly, it sounds weird but I use coffee stirrers and they work great 😜 (plus they're really cheap so that's just a bonus)

depends on the thickness of ur strings im making a wall hanging that is 48 strings and its on a toothpick but in all honesty either work great hope that helps 👍 👍 🙂 🙂 🙂hope u guys stay safe xx |

I would probably use a dowel because it is longer, thicker and more durable. I know from past experiences that sometimes a toothpick can break when you are making your bracelet. Hope this helps!

I think a dowel but you may have to cut it shorter depending on how long your dowels are
