deleting colors

so i was making a pattern (an alpha) and while making it i added shades of the same color. (if that makes sense) does anyone know how to delete colors when making an alpha because it's the only thing stopping me from me from submitting the pattern.

So in the pattern you make different letters for different colors, so if you just go in and make all the letters (if the color you don’t want) into the letter (of the color you do want) and then it should delete the color
