Variations for the patterns only shows the different color combos you can do with that pattern, so the pattern remains the same but it shows you different color options as variations

how can a variation be viewed after it's been submitted?

@Smooth once a variation is submitted it has to be accepted by a moderator. It will then be accepted or declined. If it is accepted then everyone will be able to see it on your profile and on the variation tab. If it is declined it will reappear on your create patterns tab and you will then be able to change it and you have the opportunity to resubmit it. I hope this answers your question 🙂

@Smooth you can’t view variations on the app but you can on the website
