So I was working on pattern #30401 and I stumbled on some questions. On the sides, it looks like the leading string changes from yellow to Light pink. There also seemed to be some places where there were supposed to be gaps. Is this right? Iโm having some questions on the design, and Iโm a little confused on some stuff. Also with two color switches in a row that donโt include the leading string, what do you do? Does the switch include the leading color or an added one?

When you switch strings it becomes your new leading string.

You knot row by row. If you need to switch to a different colour you fold the old leading string behind the bracelet so it's out of the way. You put a new leading string of the new colour in its place and continue knotting with it.
