this question is in regards to pattern #17874im just curious why the string are lettered ABDCEFG the 3rd string is D not C? does it matter?i havent seen it on ther patterns or maybe i never noticed.

When you generate a normal pattern in the generator you can determine the colours of the strings and the order of the strings. The colours and their order aren't automatically generated so it can happen that they're not in alphabetical order.
