Some patterns take a few minutes or hours of days depending on if lots of moderators are on the site. If your patten gets declined then the pattern already exists or is too similar to another pattern.

It depends if the moderators are on the site. A lot of the time my patterns get approved overnight. Your patterns may take longer than that. If that happens you just have to be patient, I am pretty sure that the moderators can't cherry pick what patterns they review so asking them to approve your pattern probably won't work. I'm not sure about this though, so you may want to check!
